By bringing together community members, organizations, and investigators, research projects can more effectively translate findings into meaningful benefits for the communities we serve. Community partners are individuals or groups who have an interest in the research outcomes and whose input can greatly enhance the research process.
Community partners may include, but are not limited to, community-based organizations, patients, disease advocacy groups, local residents, clinical providers, tech and industry partners, payors, and policymakers.
