Walk-Ins
While we do welcome walk-in visitors, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, we strongly recommend that you schedule an appointment to avoid a long wait to speak with a VISA Advisor. For quick questions, please feel free to use our virtual advising service, described below. If you are speaking with an advisor as a walk-in and we determine that your issue will take more than 10-15 minutes to resolve, we may ask you to schedule an appointment so that we can devote more time to you.
Virtual Advising Hours
Virtual advising hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 11 am to 1 pm, Eastern time, except for days when the VISA Office is closed.
If you have a question or concern you'd like to discuss during that time frame, reach out to an advisor through the chatbox. The chatbox will be available on our website only during this block of time. Please keep in mind that the advisor may be assisting multiple students, so we do appreciate your patience!
During virtual advising hours, a VISA staff member is available to help with a variety of quick questions or tasks such as:
- answering immigration-related questions that require no more than 10-15 minutes*
- requesting an I-20 or a DS-2019 for travel purposes
- assisting with questions related to services provided or forms used/generated
