Position Objective
The Faculty Director of the Pre-Professional Scholars Program (PPSP) will work closely with the PPSP advisor/pre-health advisor in the Division of Student Affairs鈥� Career Center to focus on the academic and professional preparation of pre-professional scholars in medicine.
Pre-professional scholars are exceptional undergraduate students who earn provisional admission into the School of Medicine鈥檚 (SOM) MD program at the time of their acceptance to Case Western Reserve University to pursue their undergraduate study.
The Faculty Director will work closely with the PPSP advisor to develop a comprehensive co-curricular experience that merges experiential learning with academic preparation to prepare students for successful matriculation to the MD program as well as to become leaders in the field of medicine.
Supplemental Faculty Leadership Role
This role is an administrative supplemental position (2-5 hours/week of aditional time). Compensation will be in the form of a stipend, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
