Professor of Economics at Case Western Reserve University鈥檚 Weatherhead School of Management. His research interests include macroeconomics and economic measurement, with a particular focus on the dynamics of inflation and productivity within the retail trade sector. Smith received his Ph.D in Economics from the University of Minnesota and holds a B.A. in Economics from Case Western Reserve University.
