What to Expect

Choose one of three program options that best suits your needs: accelerated MS, professional MS or research MS.

In the one-year accelerated program, you鈥檒l focus on data science and analytics鈥攐ther in-demand disciplines that mesh well with materials science and engineering to help you develop your ability to interpret statistically significant relationships in materials structures. The flexible, part-time professional MS track allows you to continue your job while you pursue your education. You鈥檒l choose a capstone project on a topic of your choice, which could even apply to your current job. And in the research MS, you鈥檒l focus on growing your portfolio through conducting a pertinent research project and thesis, attending scientific conferences to present your work, and taking full advantage of all the on and around campus.

No matter what you choose, you鈥檒l be sure to learn both fundamentals and leading-edge skills, from additive manufacturing to failure analysis and beyond.
