What to Expect
Because we admit a competitive number of graduate students per year, our seminar-style courses are small and intensive enough for you to receive considerable individualized attention and support from faculty members. As a result, you鈥檙e able to earn your degree in as little as two years.
Once enrolled, you鈥檒l complete several foundational seminars required of all our graduate students:
- Historiography, Method, and Theory
- Comparative History; and Historical Research and Writing
And, you can opt to focus on one of our specialized graduate tracks:
- Social Justice History
- History of Science in Technology, Environment and Medicine
If you鈥檙e pursuing one of these tracks, you鈥檒l focus on additional specialized courses with topics in environmental, technological, patriarchal, racial and other historically related themes.
